Faiza Saleh Ambah   Faiza Saleh Ambah is an award-winning filmmaker and the writer/director of Mariam, a medium-length film about a French-Muslim teenager forced to choose between her school and her headscarf when France passes a law in 2004 prohibiting religious symbols in public schools. A pioneer of female journalism in Saudi Arabia, Faiza was the first woman to break the gender barrier in the Saudi newsroom at the Arab News and paved the way for other female reporters. She later became a correspondent for The Associated Press, The Christian Science Monitor and Gulf Correspondent for The Washington Post before deciding to focus on filmmaking in 2009 when she realized she wanted to tell stories about Muslims and Arabs that go beyond newspaper headlines.

Jassim AlSaady   Jassim Alsaady is a Saudi filmmaker with over 15 Years of experience in a variety of productions such as commercials, corporate videos, documentaries, and feature films. Jassim was involved in facilitating and serving international productions filming in Saudi Arabia. He has worked on films for the Oprah Winfrey Network in Saudi Arabia, two IMAX documentaries on pilgrims in the holy city of Mecca and worked with American documentary filmmaker Morgan Spurlock's "Where in the World is Osama bin Laden?". recently he finished working with acclaimed German director Tom Tykwer's latest feature, "A Hologram for the King," an adaptation of the novel by American author Dave Eggers and starring Tom Hanks. Meanwhile, he directed over 20 TV commercials in the last 8 years. Currently, Jassim is shifting his focus to his own films as he is confident that himself, the local talents, and the whole country is finally ready for cinema.

Dalyah Bakheet   Dalyah Bakheet is an independent Documentary Filmmaker & Director based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She enjoys intertwining facts and narratives to create intricate and compelling storylines. Passionate by nature, her work extends across a wide variety of genres and on all major platforms. She is focused on quality, creative collaboration, and innovation within the film industry. She has a desire for addressing issues of social justice, transformation, and healing. However small, her work always looks to ignite social change. She strives to create, craft, and develop creative and innovative forms of experiences. Moreover, Dalyah is the founder and organizer of ‘12 Films a Year’, a film club that showcases the best of international & regional independent cinema, and provides a platform for film professionals and enthusiasts to come together and discuss independent film.

Ali AlAttas   Born (1989) and raised in Saudi Arabia, Ali Alattas moved to Kuala Lumpur in 2009 to continue his studies in biotechnology. In 2010 he dropped Biotech to start his career in filmmaking. He directed, and wrote for two of the top rated YouTube series “3al6ayer” and “Eish Illy”. He currently works as director/writer for multiple commercial projects. Ali is hoping to express himself as an artist through music, picture, performance, and storytelling that is combined in an organic way to be a film, reflect and show his own perspective from the experiences he has by living in this part of the world.

Ali AlAttas

Abdulrahman Khawj   Abdulrahman Khawj is a screenwriter, director and film producer. He has a Bachelor's in Architecture with a concentration in creative writing, and a Master's of Fine Arts in Film. His short films have won best-screenplay awards at the NOLA Film Festival, Miami, FL, and shown at the Dubai International Film Festival and NDUIFF in Beirut Lebanon, as well as few other festivals. Three of his feature screenplays were shortlisted for the Sundance Screenwriting Lab, and he's directed two micro-budget feature films in Saudi Arabia. Abdulrahman was the head writer for the OSN TV show Bashar 2, and wrote two episodes for the series this season. He's also a co-writer on the Feature  Painted White , a commercial feature film inspired by the success story of the owner of the famous Saudi Garments brand LOMAR. He's based in Jeddah Saudi Arabia and in addition to writing, Abdulrahman is focusing on producing feature films through the independent film production company he co-founded  Cinepoetics Pictures . He's produced three feature films, and co-produced four other features, all with stories and by filmmakers based in Saudi Arabia and with a crew 80% of whom are local female filmmakers.

Baraa Alem   after spending his childhood in Makkah Saudi Arabia , Baraa Moved to Jeddah to study Media at KAU , got his Bachelor in Media “producing & Directing” , by 2014 he did a leadership Program in Singapore “NUS” and a Filmmaking workshop at “Nyfa” Los Angeles camp , he then knew for sure that visual story telling is what moves him the most among all media Forms, by 2016 he had already worked as an Art Director Assistant, and a Director Assistant , a main cast in many Big TV commercials “Coca Cola” and “Aramco” this gave him a good understanding of the commercials business besides his contributions as an “Actor” for many independent Saudi films .He is the Creator, Presenter of “ Filmmer “ a Film oriented Saudi youtube channel that talk films in an engaging way including Acting scenes where Baraa has to totally change his appearance to fit a certain character , the main goal of this channel is to push people to watch more films and Tv Fiction content and learn from it as he believes that having an audience with a taste of cinema is as important as having good filmmakers who can deliver Cinema.
